Jeff – I feel like all we’re eating lately is Ice Cream.  We’ve been to the Bluff Park Ice Cream Shoppe recently, which we love.  Definitely try the Zanzibar chocolate there.  Then this past weekend, we ate at the Peach Park, and Cammie’s Old Dutch Ice Cream Shoppe in Mobile, AL.  We don’t always stop at the Peach Park as we drive down I-65 to Mobile, but we try to go at least a couple of times on our trips.  One of Julie’s favorite ice creams is at the Peach Park, which is cantaloupe ice cream.  We don’t know anywhere else to find that flavor.  I keep choosing the wrong flavors as we try new places, so I’ve asked Julie to be my Ice Cream selector from now on!  The ice cream flavor’s she gets are always better than mine!  At the Peach Park, I gave her the multiple choices of Snickers, Chocolate Chip, Cookie’s and Cream, and Chocolate.  She went with the standard of Chocolate, but it was the right choice again!  It was homemade Milk Chocolate, and was excellent.  Highly recommended.

We moved Tyler back into college for his Senior year over the weekend.  We had Cammie’s on our list of new places to try, and decided if we had time while we were in Mobile we would try it.  Cammie’s is close to downtown Mobile, and you have to know where you are going to find it.  The night we went we didn’t go until maybe 7:30, and there was a good crowd there still.  We didn’t have to wait any time though.  Julie had Chocolate Peanut Butter, which I wish I would have had!  So tasty!  I picked my usual favorite of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, but it wasn’t one of the best places I’ve had my fav.  It needed more Cooke Dough!  We’ll go back another time when we visit Mobile if we need an Ice Cream fix.
