The Electric

We started out our day by visiting a new antique store in the Bluff Park area, called Shades Mountain Mercantile. When it was time for lunch we decided to see what we could find on Yelp. We found this really cool place hidden right across the street called The Electric.

We walked in and it had a really cool vibe. They have several old school video game machines in the restaurant. There were some young kids playing on a couple of them. We didn’t try our hand at any of them this trip, but Jeff said he could go dominate the Galaga game if he so chose.

We started with the beer cheese appetizer. This was the first time we had beer cheese with regular potato chips, but hey it worked and was really good.

I decided to try the Downhome, I mean who doesn’t love a good fried bologna sandwich?? I wasn’t sure about the tomatillo’s or the chips INSIDE the sandwich, but it was really good and I’d have it again. Jeff went with the Classic flatbread and said that it was really good.

It is definitely a place we’ll visit again when in the area. Check it out if you are in the area.
