For my family Christmas we decided to just do finger foods this year. I made homemade peanut butter cookies which are easy to make and they were a big hit.

I use a really easy recipe that I got years ago from someone at church.

1 cup peanut butter

1 cup sugar

1 egg

Combine all together. Roll into balls and place on a cookie sheet.

Using a fork dipped in flour press in the center to make the iconic marks of a peanut butter cookie. After Christmas I was watching a cooking show and she used a fork dipped in water. That would keep the white off the cookies, I had never heard or tried that. I’ll have to remember for next time.

I also added Hershey’s kisses to some of them. Jeff was not a fan.

I guess the cookies were good since I only brought home a half a cookie.
