Have you heard about a new restaurant in the Inverness area of Birmingham called Trampled by Tacos?? No, me either!! This was another Yelp find. It’s only been open a few weeks.

We knew we wanted to go to dinner on a Saturday night so while we were watching the game I started scrolling on Yelp looking for somewhere new or different or somewhere we hadn’t been in a while and I stumbled upon this restaurant. I looked at the menu, pictures and a map for the location.

When I saw that they had ground beef I knew that Jeff could eat there. LOL!! Then I looked for the location and saw that it was just at the intersection of Highway 119 and Highway 280, not to far from home. So off we went after the game was over.

I did not study the menu after I saw the ground beef, so I had no idea what I wanted. So a guy met us at the door and asked if we had been in before. We told him this was our first time. He gave us menus and told us when we were ready to order at the counter, find a table and they would bring it to us.

We started with chips and queso. I had the Reef ‘n Beef Bowl (steak and shrimp) and Jeff did a build your own bowl. As the guy was pointing out different things on the menu he told us that chips came with the ready made bowls and burritos. We didn’t know about the build your own since it was in a different place on the menu, so that is why we ordered the chips and queso. We ended up with so many chips!! So chips come with everything BUT the tacos. We’ll know next time to just order a side of queso or guacamole.

Everything was delicious. We look forward to going back soon.
