There is a new restaurant in English Village in Mountain Brook called Curry Corner. I pass by this restaurant every day on my way to and from work. It’s been open for a short time. We finally decided to give them a try one night on our way home from work.

They brought us some kind of crispy tortilla looking chip and a small bowl with a brown sauce and a green sauce. No idea what we ate, but it was good. The brown sauce was sweet and the green had a little heat that would hit you a little bit after you finished the bite. They were both good. For our meal Jeff ordered the butter chicken with no heat and I decided to venture out and try the Tandoori Chicken with no heat and we ordered the cheese naan. Did you know that you can pick your spice level? You can go with no heat, a little heat or a lot of heat. You just tell them your preference and they will cook it the way you prefer.
I had no idea what I was ordering. I had looked up pictures and saw that it was not in a sauce like most of the things I’ve tried at other places. I didn’t know what to expect, but I wasn’t expecting chicken on the bone. But it was a large plate of chicken. I ate 2 pieces and brought the rest home. It was good, don’t know that I’d get it again as it was kind of messy to eat. The sauce that is on it is very orange.

Parking was easy as there is a couple of public parking lots across the street. The food was all delicious. We will definitely be stopping in again when in the mood for more butter chicken!
