Is this what they mean when they say “Shovel it in”? A spoon that looks like a shovel?

A few years ago around Valentine’s Day we made reservations for lunch at Bellini’s Restaurant on Highway 119 in the Inverness area. This was our first time there. We didn’t know when we went that they have a famous bread pudding. So after our meal we decided to have dessert and tried the white chocolate bread pudding. When the dessert was brought they brought us these spoons, and it honestly looked like a shovel.

It is the BEST that we have found thus far. It is served warm with a scoop of ice cream. It does not contain nuts as many do. It is just a bowl of pure deliciousness.

A few weeks ago we were in the area at lunchtime and decided that this was the place for lunch. I had the paparadelle and meatballs. They have some of the best meatballs I have ever had. Jeff had the ricotta gnocchi.

So if you are looking for a good italian place check out Bellini’s, they have a variety of food, steak, pizza, burgers, salads. It is off Highway 280 on Highway 119 in the Inverness area. For lunch you don’t necessarily have to have a reservation, but they encourage reservations at night.
