How many Mexican restaurants is too many in one area??? Well it’s like that old tootsie roll pop commercial with the owl, the world may never know. LOL!!! A new one recently opened in Leeds, AL called Guerrero Mexican Grill. It’s been open a few weeks in a former restaurant space on Highway 78 between I-20 and downtown Leeds.

It was a rainy night and we decided to meet there for dinner on the way home. The food was delicious. We started with the queso, it was a little bit spicy. I had the Guerrero Special which was grilled chicken and rice topped with cheese and Jeff went with a beef quesadilla with rice and beans.

We will be adding this restaurant to our rotation of restaurants near home. If you are in the area we suggest that you check them out.
