2025: A Year of Memorable Travels

2025 has been a great year for traveling!

We started in January with a trip to Guntersville, AL. We went to look for the bald eagles. I had seen lots of people talking about them on social media. We thought we found one, but after doing more research it was a crane hunkered down from the cold. We did not find them. We went back to Guntersville in February for Jeff’s birthday. Once again, we thought we found the eagles. But nope, it was a couple of ravens.

In March we went to Maryville, TN for our nephew and niece’s wedding shower. We stayed in a loft in downtown Maryville.

In June we took a family vacation to Orange Beach, AL.

In August, we went to visit the newlyweds in Tennessee. We had dinner at Bella’s in Maryville, TN. Some of us had the pasta wheel. Have you ever heard of it? If not, you should check it out. We’ve not found anywhere local that offers this.

In August we also went to Las Vegas, NV. The first half of the week Jeff had class and I spent my time reading and relaxing. At the end of the week, we discovered some new activities to explore. We had not done these on past trips.

In September, after a year of planning, we went to Woodstock and Stowe, VT. We had amazing fall like weather while we were there. You can read more about the trip and see lots of beautiful pictures here.
